Many online gambling companies have been working together with sports leagues and other international sporting events to regulate wagering on sports. The largest concern by these venues is that the outcomes will be tainted by the sports wagering. Another positive note is that the gambling operators themselves have been active participants in assisting the commission in order to prevent improper wagers. Out of these 56 cases 39 of them were reported by the operators and 17 came from sources outside such as the sporting leagues themselves. Included in his 17 were hit by the media as well as the general public who blew the whistle on some irregular activity.
